The wait is FINALLY over, and the house is officially ours. We've waited a long time for this moment...a little over two years to be exact. It was well worth it. Welcome to our new home!!

I guess I need to learn how to cook now. no more excuses.

Huntington Library

Last weekend, my sister and Isabelle came down to visit. We decided to head over to Pasadena and walk around Huntington Library. Here's my sister and Isabelle attempting to plan out the day. Isabelle is probably pointing to the children's garden.

"Okay Baby Lauryn, we're going to the children's garden!"

This picture was taken in the beginning. Then it got really hot, and I decided it was too hot to take pictures. So this is pretty much it.

Next time, the kids should bring their swimsuits b/c after visiting the children's garden, Izzy was soaking wet. Good thing my sister had extra clothes! A good mommy always plans ahead!

It was a great weekend! Hopefully next time, cami can join us.

Halloween

Okay, so this huge halloween warehouse store next to our apt is back in business (which is crazy b/c it's only aug!!). But, it got me thinking...what is Lauryn going to be for her 1st halloween? I have to plan early b/c last year I tried to put a costume together for myself last minute and ended up being a park ranger....BOOOOORING!! I don't want LB to be a park ranger!! Anyways, that explains why I was so happy to find this email from potterybarn kids in my inbox this morning. I was looking through the costumes and thought these were cute.

Too bad this banana one doesn't come in her size. She loves bananas too!

It's still fairly early, so I'm not going to purchase anything just yet...but i'm definitely keeping my eyes open. Trick or Treat peoples??!!
